I have been testing and wondering and wondering and testing my different armor sets in pve trying to figure out what works best and well, I decided I might as well ask the community so here goes. I am trying to see if gladiator or ascalon armor is better for pve or a mix of the two? Im a sword warrior btw and if you think a mix is better then please tell me which pieces should be which type. Thanks alot!

How energy heavy are you?

Being a sword warrior won't actually make that much of a difference on what kind of armor you wear, but the skills you use and how you play will.

Then Ascalon set. The main healing spells you use, from my experience, don't cost too much energy.

For extra energy, try the Glad boots and gloves, but since your going to be relying on sheer willpower to live, go with the defence for the main portion.

You can always have a secondary weapon set up, a sword and an icon for extra energy that you can switch to for the really needed moments.

Well, personally, I'm all about looking good... and I found the Knight's Armor Hauberk (Body piece) with Platemail... everything else... to look quite nice. Might just be me, though.

Oh, hell yeah. Looking good is so much more important than being effective.

It's why my Nec/Wa has chest scar pattern....

Well... I'm by far not the best warrior in the game... but I'd like to believe I'm not horrible, either. Thus far, I haven't had any problems with my armor choice.
